Josai University’s Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences seeks to attract more international students to its programs. The audience for this pamphlet are young adults in their late teens, a group usually attracted by glossy, colorful and dramatic photographic imagery as well as vibrant color palettes. To meet the demands of this audience, the brochure makes extensive use of photos; often retouched to enhance hues and saturation. The motif of the cross, an internationally recognized symbol of the pharmaceutical profession, is used consistently through the pamphlet both as an icon and as a visual device to structure page layout.
